Our History
With over 90 years’ experience within the shoe industry, Quarter & Last is part of The Clinkard Group Ltd. After serving in the First World War, our original founder [Charles Clinkard] discovered his appreciation for high-quality and long-lasting boots and thus set off on his journey of selling footwear and a first-class customer experience – values that continue to be at the fore front of the company today. As one of four websites within The Clinkard Group Ltd, Quarter & Last focuses on craftsmanship and quality within a contemporary style.
A Name to Last
Quarter & Last; a nod to timeless style and craftsmanship.
Our name is derived from the very heart and soul of shoe making. The ‘Quarter’ forms part of the shoe’s upper, intricately designed to convey style, whilst the ‘Last’ is the shoe-maker’s base tool, around which a shoe is skilfully crafted.
