Q. What is a Goodyear welted sole?

A process developed in 1869 by Charles Goodyear, sees a strip of leather known as the welt sewn to combine the welt, upper and lining to the wall of the insole. A Goodyear welted construction means that a shoe can be resoled multiple times.  

Q. Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept a variety of payment types to make purchasing with us as convenient as possible. You can use any Credit or Debit Card as well as PayPal, all of which will appear as options at the checkout. 

Q. How long does an order take to dispatch?

Orders delivered to the UK, if placed before 5pm, will be with you the following working day.For international customers we offer an express delivery service with the estimated delivery date shown at the checkout. 

Q. Do you offer a free next day delivery service?

Yes, we dispatch all of our UK based orders using a free next day delivery service. 

Q. How much do you charge for delivery?

Next day delivery is free for all UK orders. 

Q. Which delivery companies do you use?

We use DPD and Royal Mail for deliveries to the UK and Northern Ireland and DHL for international deliveries. 

Q. Do you offer international shipping?

We offer an express delivery service to our international customers and the postage costs will be displayed at the checkout. 

Q. Will I be charged VAT for an overseas order?

All our prices are inclusive of VAT. If you are ordering from a country not liable to pay VAT, this will be refunded once your order is received. 

Q. What should I do if I would like to return an item?

You can return your order to us free of charge within 365 days of purchase provided your item is in its original unworn condition. To return an order for an exchange or refund, simply follow the instructions received in your order pack.
